Students recognized for academic excellence
At the January 26 awards parade, more than 650 cadets and veteran students who earned a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher were presented with Gold Star pins for academic excellence. Gold Stars may be worn on a cadet’s uniform in the semester following the academic achievement. In addition to Gold Stars, students who achieved a 3.20 or higher GPR for 12 or more semester hours were named to Dean’s List. Cadets named to Dean’s List received a medal, which is worn on their uniform during the semester following their academic achievement. One of the most distinguished cadet awards presented at ɬÀï·¬ is President’s List, which indicates excellence in academics and military duties. The list is a combination of the Dean’s List and the Commandant’s Distinguished List and is composed of cadets who contribute the most to their companies while maintaining excellent military and academic records.
